Plant-based ingredients
Cellulose
Microfiber is spun from polyester and nylon, so it sheds plastic fibers every wash. The Sponge Towel uses plant cellulose from wood pulp instead, a renewable fiber that holds up to 10x its weight in water and breaks down at the end of its life.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is woven in for a softer wipe and durability across 1,500 uses. Grown without synthetic pesticides, it biodegrades when the towel wears out, unlike the synthetic fibers in a microfiber cloth.
