Are Plastno products certified?
Yes! Our compostable trash bags are certified by both BPI for industrial composting and TUV for home composting. Our Multi Cleaner Tablets are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, and 100% of shipment emissions are offset through verified carbon removal projects. Sponges and cloths are biodegradable but not certified compostable.
Where does Plastno ship and what does shipping cost?
Plastno ships across the United States, with free shipping on qualifying orders. Every shipment's carbon emissions are 100% offset through verified carbon removal partners. All packaging is plastic-free recyclable kraft paper, printed with non-petroleum-based dyes, so the box arriving at your door is part of the cleanup.
What's the difference between Plastno and traditional cleaning brands?
Traditional cleaning brands ship water in plastic bottles. Plastno ships refillable bottles and concentrated tablets so you mix the water at home. Our formulas use mineral-based and plant-derived ingredients with no synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals. Our sponges are made from loofah, cellulose, and organic cotton, and our trash bags are home compostable instead of made from petroleum.
Where should I start if I'm new to plastic-free cleaning?
The Multi Cleaner Set is the easiest entry point. It pairs a refillable bottle with a starter pack of cleaning tablets, replacing the most common single-use spray bottle. From there, swap in biodegradable sponges and compostable trash bags one product at a time.
