Are Plastno products certified?
Yes! Our compostable trash bags are certified by both BPI for industrial composting and TUV for home composting. Our Multi Cleaner Tablets are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, and 100% of shipment emissions are offset through verified carbon removal projects. Sponges and cloths are biodegradable but not certified compostable.
Where does Plastno ship and what does shipping cost?
Plastno ships across the United States, with free shipping on qualifying orders. Every shipment's emissions are fully offset through verified carbon removal partners, and the box is recyclable kraft paper printed with non-petroleum-based dyes.
What's the difference between Plastno and traditional cleaning brands?
Traditional cleaning brands ship water in plastic bottles. Plastno ships refillable glass bottles and concentrated tablets so you mix the water at home. The tablets are mineral-based, fragrance-free, and PVA-free. Our sponges and cloths are made from plant-based cellulose, loofah, and organic cotton, and our trash bags are certified by BPI and TUV to compost.
Where should I start if I'm new to plastic-free cleaning?
The Multi Cleaner Set is the easiest entry point. It pairs a refillable bottle with a starter pack of cleaning tablets, replacing the most common single-use spray bottle. From there, swap in biodegradable sponges and compostable trash bags one product at a time.
